From the first Unsung Musicals album: Christine Baranski as Lorraine Sheldon tears into the title song of Sherry!, the failed musical adaptation of The Man Who Came to Dinner. Jonathan Freeman is her Sheridan Whiteside. I like this rendition much more than the one on the 2004 studio cast recording with Nathan Lane and Carol Burnett. (Dolores Gray sang it in the original production, which didn’t receive a cast album)
The gossip section is delightful. I especially love what happened to Lucille McNeely.
