Blacks & Jews on Stage & Screen from the Philadelphia Humanities Council’s public television show Humanities on the Road.
This episode features my friend Warren Hoffman, who is a brilliant professor of American literature, Jewish studies, and theater, currently running the cultural programming at the Gershman Y in Philadelphia.
It’s in four sections - this is just the first 15 minutes.
Perhaps the best part of this broadcast is that it takes place at Warren’s childhood temple, so all his old Hebrew School teachers are in the audience and asking him questions.
