Married: Kevin Mulcahy Jr. and Roger Dale Newcomb (Austin Peay ‘93) on August 18 at the Theater Development Fund’s red glass steps in the heart of Times Square. About 40 invited guests, thousands of enthusiastic onlookers, and Ms. Marlo Ryan (their eloquent, precocious, 22-month-old African Grey) participated in the ceremony, which was officiated by Reverend Colleen Zenk, a three-time Emmy nominee and the couple’s close friend and confidant. Guests included Nicholas Lim, Sunny Tom, Sarah Vincent and Naeemah Luckey. The newlyweds will honeymoon this fall at Southfork Ranch in Texas, where they will meet and mingle with the cast of Dallas. Kevin and Roger both work for the boutique media company they own and operate in Manhattan, We Love Soaps LLC.
No, this is not a Libby Gelman-Waxner column, but an actual wedding announcement from the class notes section (class of ‘97) of the most recent Harvard magazine.
Not sure how the editors allowed them to so clearly mislabel Duffy Square as Times Square, but clearly that is the least of what’s going on in this.
